Preparing for the Case Interview
The Market Sizing question in the Video Interview is often intimidating to those interested in Strategy, but it doesn't need to be. We recommend the following steps to prepare.

Review Common Question Types
Familiarize yourself with past market sizing questions. Pay attention to the level of complexity, the types of logic used, and how questions are typically phrased.

Practice Out Loud
Record yourself answering past questions to get comfortable thinking aloud, structuring your thoughts, and staying within a time limit. You can also practice with a friend or peer to simulate a real conversation.

Check Your Work
After practicing, compare your answer to the past solutions. Your final number doesn’t need to be exact, but your logic and assumptions should be reasonable and follow a similar structure.

Simulate Real Questions
Try new questions using a chatbot to test your approach. Although this chatbot is imperfect, practice helps build confidence and fluency before the actual interview. Your final case will need to be read in 3 minutes and answered in 90 seconds. Please be very mindful of this time limit.
